I earned a B.A. degree (K-4) from Bennett College, Greensboro, North Carolina and an M.S. degree (K-12) from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Both degrees were in the field of education. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree I obtained my teacher certification (K-6). I've taught grades K-5 for over 10 years.
